Hi Clint. Thanks for the info on the spyware programs. When I saw Spyware guard. and spy blaster. I thought they were good.. As of now, I'm going to continue with them.. but then again. I use Ad-aware and Spy bot. and have even used an outside spyware scan.. called Panda Scan.. I do this.. every so often too.
BTW.. Thank you for the info. on the immunize. I just went to spybot.. clicked updates..(mine were all updated) and then I went to immunize.. WELL, I was shocked, it had stopped over 345 from IE.. So, I must've had it already set.. it was amazing. I never looked at that feature before..(at least not that I know of) and now. Its set to work, and let me know when it's blocking things. Thanks for that info.. Great find.. <smile> Oh, I have found - that I run Ad-aware first. and 99% of the time, it gets rid of anything thats there.(and mostly it's just cookies).. then I'll run Spy bot.. right afterwards.. It will sometimes.. pick up one or two things.. but mostly.. ad-aware has already picked it up.. If I do the reverse. and run spybot first.. same thing. It picks up 99% of the things. and then on a rare occasion.. it will show something. (when I then run Ad-aware). So, I totally agree.. We must have at least 2 programs.. and from what I've seen and been told.. Ad-aware and Spybot are the best.. Then - whatever we "run" after those.. are just 'extras.'... but I feel comfortable. that we should be protecting ourselves. and therefore.. as of now, I'll keep spyware blaster, and spyguard.. (and also run the Panda Scan, from time to time). Thanks again.. for pointing out this feature of Spybot..
