To all who tried to help me with my possible power supply on the computer that had that burnt electrical smell......
First, thanks. Second, it did turn out to be the power supply that pooped out. There was a residue of the smell when I pulled it out and stuck my nose to the vents........ It was only a 250 watt and was powering three hard drives, a floppy, a zip drive, a DVD and a CD-RW Rom. No wonder, after about 3 years, it got tired and died.
