From: Ann Parker
Hi, I have a problem that is not too worrisome, but perhaps
one of you can tell me what to do to make it go away. When I
first turn on my computer, the resolution is 800x600, though I
have it set at 1280X960 pixels.
After I have gotten rid of all the things I have to delete
every time I start my computer, then a black screen appears
and when my desktop next appears it is in 1280x960 pixels. I
have an HP Pavilion computer and an HP Pavilion f70 monitor.
Can any of you help me? ... Ann

Hi Ann ... I hope others answer your question. I'm just
wondering why every time you start up your computer, you have
to delete anything. I'm sure you know about removing items in
your Startup folder found in your start menu, and also
unchecking items in your msconfig window (Start, Run,
msconfig, Startup tab > uncheck, uncheck, uncheck.

In fact, you can easily remove items from that startup tab
window through the Registry ... Harold

(I wonder if those ellipses will remain or change into squares
or vertical lines). It also took some searching to get the
plural of ellipsis; somehow "ellipsises" made no sense. Or is
it ellipsis's. Where is our resident English teacher!
