Well how 'bout that ... goes to show you are correct in saying
that when teaching anything about the computer, you have to
take for granted that your student knows absolutely nothing. I
just learned from you that the "Temporary Internet Files"
folder in the Windows directory is what is comparable to the
"Cookies" file in Netscape. The same trick might work since
after clearing out the folder, and then visiting those
important sites, there is still the option of putting that
folder in "Read Only" mode. It's worth a try (correct me if
I'm wrong) ... Harold
