Well I finally got it to work - thank you for all your help; I went into the
Hardware Wizard and then I was having
a notice come up that a hardware needed to be installed by the XP - but it
was a different name than the
USB driver - it was some kind of adapter so I wasn't sure and so I just
installed it and then everything came up
on My Computer in the drive for the Portable Hard Drive. I was then able to
transfer everything over to the
new computer.

This is one happy camper!! Now that I have CD RW I will have to learn how to
use it and put these things on
the CD for safe keeping.

Happy New Year to you and everyone else on the list! Charmaine in Arizona
