Hi All It's far to early in the new year to have problems but computers obviously don't share this belief.
I decided to update the OS on my work machine from 98SE to Win2000, a) because of the imminent lack of support for 98 and b) because over the years the computer had gathered some much junk it needed to be cleaned out, so a fresh installation seemed to be a good idea at the time. Under 98SE I ran two printers on LPT1 and LPT2 together with a scanner and flash card reader to the two USB ports without any problems. Having installed win 2000 I have a problem that LPT2 is not found, which is a major problem. I haven't as yet installed any service patches but will do so later.
