Clint and Peter (addressing you alphabetically reminds me of the head of the mailing department in "How to Succeed" where he always plays it safe playing it "the company way") ... the OS is Windows 98 and it's IE 6; it's been on my system from an Windows update some time ago. Regarding mshtml.dll (see below), I haven't gotten around to using Outlook Express yet (still using the Netscape email), will probably give OE a try after the next System Restore, and do have that mshtml.dll in my System directory. Are you suggesting I replace that dll with a new one? As for XP, now that's a big step. I would usually wait until the present computer, a HP Pavilion (purchased June 2000), with 30 gig, of which I've only used 2 so far, becomes a dinosaur, and then buy a new one with all the latest systems on it. I use it primarily for keeping records, surfing the internet, working on my website, and wasting some time in a chatroom now and then.
