If I had to guess, I'd say it's that (annoying) Geocities
banner. It's JavaScript and his PC may have a browser problem
or JS problem. If he can get to your other websites or
webpages, then I'd rule out the Geocities PopUp and then might
think it's the JavaScript programs or JavaScript links on that
particular page. That page also has a Java error which could
be causing it. You'll see the error in IE at extreme lower
left at the yellow exclamation mark. Double click it to see
the error(s). In Netscape, type javascript in the
address bar, and there has to be either a ; or : before or
after it, I can't recall. So, try them all. The one that
works will give you the Java console showing errors.

Hello again,

A friend, when accessing my site,
http://www.geocities.com/buddychai/Navigator.html ... writes
to me saying:

"I do not know why, but I have not been able to open your web
site. I click the url and get a 'run time era' prompt. If you
have any ideas, let me know."

Now I'm not plugging my site; as Hugh says, I'm only "messing
around" with html (having fun), but does anyone know what
problem my friend might be having? ... Harold
