Hi Richard. Got the same kind of thing at my moms house.. Ebay. was one.. Amazon was another.. The Amazon said,, Here is your order for.. and it listed about 4 or 5 software bundles.. First.. we NEVER ordered them.. Second.. it said, "click here to check the status".. I wasn't about to do that.
When I called Amazon.. before I could get the words out. the rep said.. YES, these are coming in.. Its a SCAM. and to just ignore it.. Delete it.. I have also gotten from another source.. (Earthlink is our ISP).. I've gotten, "Your acct will be disabled.. due to non-payment".. Well, that TOO.. is a scam.. cause we pay by credit card each month.(automatic) and Earthlink is aware of these happenings.. This is frustrating.. cause you never know what is "real/vs. what is fake".. but mostly.. the garbage coming into our computers.. are all just that.. "Garbage"..
