Hello again ... thank you for the Outlook Express vs MS Outlook advice. For a while I'll play with both of them and see which I prefer. An aside: I'm retired now but when working with the kids (in a certain part of the Big Apple), it was not unusual to hear it said, "boff of them" --- of all the linguistic sounds one hears in NYC, that's the one that amused me most :)
Windows 98 --- Nobody has addressed this other problem I'm having with the Volume Control in my systray (I think that's what it's called; the box where the clock is). After the last system restore I easily removed it, then something happened, and it's back there again.
