Prior to about a week ago, when I first started a program such as Internet Explorer it would load from the hard drive then each time after the first it would not load from the hard drive. Now, if I don't use a program after about a minute it has to be lloaded again. Programs don't seem to be held in memory as the used to. I checked the memory thinking that maybe some failed but I still have 128 MB.
I don't remember making any changes other than changing colors from 256 colors to 16 bit but I changed the colors back to 256. Where might I look to have Windows hold programs in memory?
