Have you contacted the Serif tech support to resolve this matter?
There is an update patch for version 6 here http://www.serif.com/downloads.asp, as well if the issue continues you should look into the PagePlus newsgroups to see if this matter is common or not news://news.serif.com/SerifPagePlus

Really? That would be annoying! Put a request in to alt.binaries.cracked and see if anyone can help you there... Or email them
and say Hey! This is annoying! I'm sorry I bought it! or something to that effect - maybe they'll tell you how to stop it...
Sheesh, if they went out of business for any reason would you be able to continue using the program?
