That's just a hidden file on Windows.  You'll only see it if
you have the option to view all files, or view hidden files.
With that off, you won't see it.  The file is automatically
created in any folder that has images when you enable the
thumbnail view.

I've noticed thumbs.db in my folders as well and I don't use
