Previously with my old Lexmark printer attached there was no problem. I can scan and save to computer and it seems to be only scanning to direct print that I cannot do. I get the message that there is insufficient memory. I am running windows XP Home and have 512 mb Ram and 8 Gbs Hard drive in 2 partitions virtually unused. I have checked the CanoScan CD troubleshoot and nothing seems to apply to my problem. What memory is the message referring to? Is it possible that the printer software or driver has affected the scanner since they are both Canon? Any advice received with thanks.
