Hi Gang,

If you have small children, (ages 3-8 suggested) I have found a great
website for them. I signed up for it about a month ago and I can't keep the
grandkids off of it. The thing I like most about it is that once they are
logged in, there's nothing for them to click on to get out of that site.
It's very educational and entertaining with many different activities, and
there are different levels for each age group. Not sure if three child
accounts is the limit or not, but I have signed all three of my oldest
grandchildren up under my account for only 7.99/month. I have a 4yr old, and
two 8yr olds (the one-month old does not get an account just yet <VBG>).

I am very much in favor of teaching children early on how to use, and
respect computers; To the point that I pay for their computer
classes..(gotta have grandma's little geeks to carry on).

Right now at this website, they are offering a $10.00 Wal-mart gift card for
every referral that signs up for 30 days. I believe they are also offering a
$20.00 KB Toys gift card to all new members...although I am not sure that
works if you are referred.

Now on to the real deal. I can't very well use a Wal-mart gift certificate
to help pay for PCWorks, but I do spend a lot of my hard-earned dollars at
Wal-mart. What I am proposing is that if any of you sign up, and I receive a
gift card, I will put $10.00 into the PCWorks kitty, and use the gift card
for personal purchases.

If any of you are interested in this website for children, please contact me
privately at [EMAIL PROTECTED] .

On a side note, there are a few links on the PCWorks website that will earn
cash for PCWorks too. I just received $27.00 from Dell two weeks ago (of
course that covered a two year time frame), but every little bit adds up.
And by the way, if any of you have any ideas on how to raise fund online
without being annoying, commercial or seeming like a money-grubbing old
list-mom <G>, I'd be interested in hearing you out. But please do so
off-list. I REALLY don't like having to mention these things on the list,
and don't want to burden the list with a full-blown discussion on the
subject.

As always, thanks for your support!
Marlene
