(Marlene I must have just about all of your ISP's IP's blocked
since every time I remove one, your posts STILL end up being
blocked!).

I don't understand this. Ralph signed up for SpamRival several
months back for a fr*e trial. I think it was something like 30
days. I would guess he canceled it a good while back, and
forgot about it, and SpamRival is still hooked with his
address, and they screwed something up because on day one or so
he added this list to the trusted emails so this would not
happen. All this was posted at this list a few months back, I
don't guess anyone remembers. A week or so ago I sent him an
email asking if he saw someone's post (I think it was Babs)
about this service, and he didn't reply. I sent the email
again, and no reply. That same day I got an unrelated email
from him and I asked him if he got the email I fwd'd to him
regarding the SpamRival problem with this list showing up again
and he said he never got it. I sent it AGAIN, and no reply. I
can only guess there is something in that email to him that's
being blocked. I'll try it again and carefully go through the
email **'ing out any suspect words.

Earthlink has a couple of levels of spam blocking available. I
think maybe
Ralph has opted into the challenge-response level called
"Suspect email
blocking" which EarthLink started several months ago. If he
doesn't want it
he needs to go to earthlink.net and change his mail options.

Hi Gang,

Due to several complaints arising from the email that Spam
Rival sends our
listmembers each time someone posts, I contacted Ralph with the
complaints.
Much to my surprise, he knows absolutely nothing about, and has
NEVER heard
of Spam Rival.

I advised him to contact them immediately to de-activate his
account, and to
find out WHO opened this account, and WHY. I cannot understand
it either,
especially since it is a "for a fee" program, and advised him
to check his
banking and credit statements for withdrawals. He assured me
that he had not
been debited for their services.

The only other direction I think this might take, is perhaps
Earthlink makes
use of their services?? Anyone have any input here?

Thanks,
Marlene
