Hi All I have a problem trying to setup an ADSL connection. If I bring the router home(my computer) and set it up it works OK. Go to my friends house and try and use his laptop(XP home) and it will not work.
If I goto dos (cmd) I can ping the router OK when I use IE6 and try and go to 192.168.1.2 it will not work, but the address at the bottom of IE screen says 10.0.0.1. If I use IPCONFIG the computers address is 192.168.1.81 this stays the same even after IPCONFIG /refresh I orginaly thought because it is also used on a school network that this is the problem.
