(Resending, I accidently sent this out the first time w/ the wrong from email address)

Lynne,

I have a "default" index page in my image folders, for instance:
http://www.fractalfairy.com/~feusers/tilesbackground/images/
to keep people from just going into a folder and viewing such as you can w/ yours...
Just seems to make the site more complete...

The folder is viewable as a full path because that's what all folders are - full paths
to them... Any folder you have on your
website (unless you password protect it) will be viewable by simply typing in it's
path... If you want a folder that others can't
find out what's in it you need to put an index page there... One w/o alot of graphics
will lessen your bandwidth usage (if you have
a cap on your bandwidth)...

I used to have a server in my computer and I could make it so that the server would
not allow others to link to a folder w/o an
index.html page in it... It's possible that your server is like that and that's why
some browsers can't see the images and others
can't though I would think it would restrict all browsers and not just some... Try
putting in an index page into the images folder
and see if it corrects the problem...

Babs
