Liz,
I don't quite understand what you mean "Outlook and IE time out".
They should not time out if you are on DSL. The only time I have had this is when my
DSL company had
problems and had to reconfigure something on their end.
If you are trying to connect to a webpage and get a message "This page can not be
found" and you are on
DSL, check for modem problems, Ethernet card, or perhaps problem on the DSL companies
side.
When I had problems, it was usually at the same time every night and lasted for a few
hours. By the AM,
everything was fine.

Subject: PCWorks: Why does my Outlook & IE time out?

Hi All..
I need help.. as my Outlook and IE programs time out way too frequently.
If I am away from the computer for a short bit of time.. I come back and
try to send/rec. mail or surf and am able to..
Actually I have to reboot my computer.. when I used Outlook Express this
did not seem to happen
as often.

Hoping you can give me some hints as to why this is happening.. remembering
of course to make it simple..

I am using XP Home edition..
DSL
Outlook
Internet Explorer 6.0

A million thanks.. you all are the greatest.
Liz
