BTW it is soon to be a standalone app named Sunbird http://www.mozilla.org/projects/calendar/sunbird.html
It is quite exciting following the evolution of these products in the Mozilla community :)

Agreed. That said, you can even still use MS products and still be safe, if you use something like Avant Browser or Crazy Browser, which sit on top of IE and add those type of functions. I mainly use Mozilla Firefox now, but still use Avant when I need to have an IE browser to visit places like the MS Update site. I can disable scripts, block pop ups etc all at the click of a button or two. And Mozilla Thunderbird can be set up so much like Outlook that you would never notice the difference.
