Clint the F11 key in both IE and FF turns the kiosk mode on and off.
It works as it is designed to.
You seem to have experienced similar issues with IE through the years as well, perhaps some tweaks being performed shouldn't be performed. Or perhaps they should be more thoroughly tested to determine how they interact with other modifications.
