All right, I'll try it again. Where should I look, because I'm using OE 6 and don't see any option where it (Lockergnome, for example) "provides a link to HTML version" --- Harold
From: "Jeff Dougherty" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Harold, It's a shame people are willing to risk security just to make emails look prettier. I too, get the Lockergnome emails, and they provide a link to HTML version. Since all my newsletters go to their own folders, I change the setting for the time I am reading those lists and change it back. -- Jeff From: ETM <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > I moved to TheBat! several years ago when I tired of people sending me flying and singing angels on colored stationery. Now all HTML is tabbed behind the plain text version of all emails and dumped unseen in the trash. If newsletters insist on sending HTML they also are dumped. Most seem to have a plain text version but they sure push for the HTML. I agree with your comments, Jeff. It's a terrible security risk. The stuff isn't even attractive, often is plain ugly as a matter of fact. It makes no sense to me. -- Elaine ============= PCWorks Mailing List ================= Don't see your post?
