Hello again, TigerDirect advertises a computer with the following features:
HP/Compaq Pavilion A742X AMD Athlon XP 3100+ / 512MB DDR / 160GB HDD / DVD+RW / Windows XP Home / Desktop PC After rebate, the final price of the above is $549.99 (nobody would ever say $550, but that's advertising). One thing I know because someone in my building just got it is that it has no floppy drive, of course it has a C-drive (hard drive), and a D-drive, and no other drives. This can be found at: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/searchtools/item-Details.asp?EdpNo=1078244&sku=L250-4092 I realize that it's not easy to recommend one computer to anyone because each of us has different needs. But for general use (keeping personal records, emailing, working on a website, browsing, using ICQ, visiting naughty sites, and things like that), my question is: -- is it worth it? --- Harold -- No virus found in this outgoing message.
