OK, I don't remember if ME has the auto clock setting like XP 
does.  If it doesn't then that of course won't work.  Norton 
has/had a bug that would slow down a PC's clock.  Since McAfee 
has been known for numerous bugs, it's possible it could be 
doing that as well.  If a day is long enough, try and disable 
it for a day when you're not using your PC (since you won't be 
protected).  Just leave the PC on maybe overnight or so until 
you think the clock has had enough time to show a slow down.

The mobo battery is usually not going to have any effect on 
WINDOWS time.  So there's probably something in Windows that's 
causing it.

    No Norton.  Just McAfee as far as I know.  Sometimes
AOL Spyware Protection comes on and scans the drives by
itself.
