You could also:
Remove the ethernet cable from the modem or computer, turn off the power to the modem or router, look through your router settings for a software solution such as" DHCP, release all". In the Run box, type cmd. Type ipconfig /release "connection name"
Lots of choices-just choose the most convenient.
