First to the group: I get the digest form of PCWorks so you can imagine how humongous the email looked when my Hijack log was posted. Of course, I thank Clint for giving it a try; I would have just sent it to anyone interested, but off of the list. If Clint's posting looks confusing, I'll send it to anyone interested off the list as a txt file (much easier to see). I was sorta confused when I got email off the list, not knowing if you wanted the log on or off the list. I froze (that's a switch) at the idea of posting all that to the list.
However, Karl's link below seems to give me exactly what I'm looking for. You paste the Hijack log in, click Submit, and presto, a complete analysis of every line on said log. Next questions is, how reliable are the results in that analysis. I guess life does require some risks :-) > On 6 Jun 2005 at 6:36 -0400, Harold B. wrote, at least in part: > > > Are there any volunteers to play the part of Hijack expert? > > I'll have to send you the scan log whereupon you can tell me > > what to fix and what to keep --- Harold > > <http://www.hijackthis.de/index.php?langselect=english> may be a > helpful resource; it provides a brief, automated analysis in a > few seconds. --- Karl Springer <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> ============= PCWorks Mailing List ================= Don't see your post?
