Internet options is actually in Control Panel, and IE is part of the
operating system, unlike Firefox, which is just an application. Like
most apps, FF will have to be open before you can make changes. (AFIK)
Have you tried "Add Bookmark Haw"?
.

Hello again,
I can't believe this is a problem with no solution; this is the third
time
asking. I always thought that one can make a shortcut to any file on the
computer. Here it is, third time:
We know Firefox, like most browsers, has under Tools an Option line which
opens an Options window.
I'd like to create a shortcut to that Options window so I can access
it while
the browser closed --- just like one can do in IE, where one can create a
shortcut to "Internet Options" while the browser is closed.
How would I do that? Anyone know? --- Harold
Btw, I now have three browsers installed: IE 6, Netscape 8, and
Firefox 1 ...
With Firefox I finally got the hang of "extensions" where I've installed
(using IE to download and Firefox>File>Open File, to install), "Favorites
Converter" "Add Bookmark Hee" and "View in IE"--- all doing well.
Next question might be, where do I go with these three portals to
eveywhere?
