Well the AP will remain locked as long as an account exists, the sole
caveat of unlimited bandwidth :/
Thanks for any thought you all may have given this quandary.

A relative of mine just got hooked up with wireless broadband. The
connection is set up as follows: Internet - Access Point (DLink
DWL900AP+) - Router (DLink 604) - computers, and xbox. Now everything
works flawlessly except the xbox which cannot connect to the xbox live
servers.
Xbox support is useless, they recommend power cycling.
The access point seems to be locked as it cannot be reached to enter it's
configuration manager, something the wireless provider controls for
network security which I find quite questionable as I've never seen such
a setup with a wireless internet provider. I've seen 3 now.
Aside from the locked AP there is no other explanation for the xbox
problem as 2 other xbox's from other working broadband connection don't
work with this provider.
I know this is likely a long shot but if anyone has any idea's it would
be greatly appreciated.
