You'll need to save the Word files in a PC compatible format.
See: http://www.microsoft.com/mac/products/word2004/using.aspx?pid=usingword2004&type=howto&article=/mac/library/how_to_articles/office2004/of_xplatform.xml
The jpgs should transfer as is.
If you can't burn a CD or network the two machines, upload to a server of your choice, then download to the PC. AFAIK, the MAC uses a different file system (HFS) and can't use the external HD unless it's formatted.

Hi again.

Another question, this time a customer has bought a new PC from me and wants to transfer her documents, emails and favourites from her old Mac to the new PC.

The Mac is an iMac 9.2 and the files are mainly jpeg and Word files. The emails are in Outlook Express 5.02 and Word is M\S 2001 for Mac.

Any suggestions? I have an external USB hard drive to do the file transfer but the Mac wanted to reformat it!
