Hello again,

I'm using MSWord 2000 (never updated it as this seems to do more than I ever need done). I like to disable the automatic hyperlinks that develop when url's are entered on the document. That disabling is done by going to Tools, AutoCorrect, and in both tabs "AutoFormat" and "AutoFormat As You Type" where the boxes say, "Internet and network hyperlinks" ... they have to be unchecked. That's easier to do than to explain.

Problem ... for no reason I know of, nothing that I'm aware I'm doing, they every so often, all by themselves, become checked and the hyperlinks appear on any document I'm working on. Anyone know what would cause that? I know it's not the 100 degree temperature we're having here in the Baked Apple as this was happening all winter--- Harold in NYC. ============= PCWorks Mailing List =================
