Need some more information, Liz. What were you installing from auto update
that caused AVG to break? How did it break? What is happening on your
computer? Can you do a manual scan with AVG?

There is no information out there that suggests that any of the critical
updates had an effect on a/v software. There are some virxxs out there that
will stop you're a/v software.

The KB925902 patch was for the animated cursor flaw.

I am in need of a patch KB925902.. (I think?)
Apparently M$ auto. update has caused my AVG not to work.
I have the paid version of AVG anti-vxxxs and firewall..

Oh My OS is Windows XP home addition... we have DSL.

Is there something I can do??

Thanks for all your help.. I am totally at a loss here..
