Summary: Support 24Bit-soundcards in Pd/ALSA

Initial Comment:
Several interesting USB devices like the Tapco Link.USB or the Alesis IO2 only
support 24bit sample width. In ALSA this corresponds to SND_PCM_FORMAT_S24_3LE.
Pd's ALSA interface however is hardcoded to only support SND_PCM_FORMAT_S32 and
if that fails SND_PCM_FORMAT_S16. It would be nice if Pd would also support
24bit natively and at best some more formats. Currently the only solution to
use these devices on Linux is to run jackd.
