I just noticed that when you specify "white" or "#ffffff" in Tk on
Mac OS X, you actually get "#fefefe" for "white" and "#f5f7f7" for
"#ffffff". I am assuming is this some kind of automatic gamma
correction to make things match the other platforms.
Anyone have any insight on this?
