Hey,
Nope, you were not holding it up, there were plenty of other bugs also
slowing things... :)
I tried to get flite building on Mac OS X using fink, but wasn't
successful. If you are willing to help with that, I think we could
get it going and then included in Fink. August and I are currently
working on getting gavl (done) and gmerlin-avdecoder(almost there) in
Fink so that we can get readanysf~ on Mac.

in re: bugfixes: readdir is still not building on win32 (easy to fix,
maybe this weekend), flite seems to build almost nowhere but debian,
and
the last I checked, a number of ubuntu flavors were flaking out (at
least with my stuff, but I think the builds were crashing before the
'moocow' target even got called). that said, i certainly have no
objections to calling the current state of affairs a release
candidate,
since I don't know when I'll get around to the fixes; when that
happens,
I guess we can always point people at the daily builds for the
bleeding-edge...

Ok, now that Bryan got his lovely moocow collection building on
Windows,
I think we are ready for the first release candidate of Pd-extended
0.41.4. To do that, everything needs to be added to
branches/pd-extended 0.41.4.
Anyone have any pending bug fixes for the 'externals' section?
That's
the last section that is not already in the release branch.
