i kind of abandoned work on [canvasselect] after i realized that it did
not seem to work as i liked (e.g. you cannot select something in a
closed patch). that's why there were post()s inside rather than useful
output...
IOhannes, do you know if it's possible to get and set the coordinates
of arbitrary objects simply by index, much like [canvasposition] can
do now but including externals etc. where you can't place a
[canvasposition] object?
yes, i know this and it is on my todo list (it's not hard to do, i just
did not find the time yet),
i'm planning a separate class of objects like [canvas...] that operate
on _other_ objects rather than self.
