the maintainer of the object is on the list, but he is probably not reading it :-) i try to speak on behalf of him, forgive my arrogance: i'm sure that he is not aware of the specific problem, though he is certainly aware of the problem in general. i don't think that he will fix the problem within the next couple of weeks by himself. probably providing a patch would be a good start. all of the above may be wrong. i'll tak to him about this the next time i see him. in the meantime, couldn't you run sox to convert the wav to a "readable" format? fgamsdr IOhannes
