It seems like the path & startup GUI dialog scroll boxes aren't being filled when a preference file is loaded. I don't see where the pd processes sends those values to the core so far. In the case of the path dialog, pdtk_path_dialog sends the checkbox values but not sys_searchpath, whitch itself doesn't seem to be set in the GUI by the core anywhere.
