I'm going to try to devote some time each day to looking at some of
those many pull requests that have piled up on github. Meanwhile, I
think my own contributions will be to extend the struct, (v)pointer, get
and set objects to make for easier design of data structures, which are
still far too unwieldy.
For instance, if "struct" were to output a message when objects are
created it would be easy to quickly get pointers to objects on
pre-filled windows so you could base control panels on ;data structures
much more easily. I think we also need better "search" and "sort"
tools. Any of this stuff takes me quite a long time to settle on what I
think is can be good, permanent design choices...
Then later on in the release cycle I can focus on my GTK skunk-works
project while we wait for whatever bugs emerge after from PR merging and
my own coding attempts. I'm hoping for 0.57 in early September...
