Sure,
I have this non linear sequencer that sends midi events into live. I would like to feed my global metro into an object that triggers a series of bangs, eg, half or quarter the frequency, and distribute it to the midi outlet. At the same time Id like these extra events to have an controllable rate, so that I can adjust it with [ctrIn]. I looked at the Uzi object. That would be ideal if I could control the speed of output. Any clearer? Thanks for the link. Having a read now.

Thanks,
Timon.

Hi, Im looking for an object that receives one bang and outputs a
variable number of bangs, over variable time (like [drip]). I know
this will be similar to metro, but It simplifies greatly what I want
to achieve. Anyone know of such object?

Maybe you could elaborate a bit more what exactly you would like the
object to do. "variable number of bangs, over variable time" sounds a
bit vague. Anyway the Rhythm-objects in RTC-lib provide various kinds
of rhythm-generators: http://www.essl.at/works/rtc.html and

Ciao
