yes, exactly what i do but with mencoder (i'm not familiar with
animaker)

for example:

mencoder "mf://*jpg" -mf fps=24 -o outfilename.avi -ovc lavc -lavcopts
vcodec=mjpeg

there's a ton of options so you can suit to taste.
