you don't need to post to both pd-announce and pd-list: all emails that go to pd-announce are automatically forwarded to pd-list; so you are effectively sending the mail 2 times to pd-list. this should be explained in the netiquette found at http://puredata.info/community/lists/netiquette anyhow, thanks for sharing mfasdr.
