i just successfully compiled ann on pd_darwin and had a quick look over the examples. I wonder how many people have used it for musical analysis. Just to give an idea. There is a patch that acts like an effect-prcessor for whatever kind of instrument. And there are like 4 predefined Presets for this effect-Processor. Would you think - or did someone already try it - that it is possible to recognize certain "musical" patterns or scales or phrases to trigger a special output and with that change the preset. I think i understood ann in so far that it should be possible, but are there practical experiences with that ?
