Hi there,
i have to write a paper explaining the technics people use to write music asisted by the computer, i want to find examples of "succesful" compositions related to algoritmic tradition but going further on pith-duration domain. Maybe using filters, fft, envelops, etcetera. Id work with that midi-to-score system but i cant put examples from my own work, also it is not very worthy to be mentioned... thanks From: marius schebella <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: josue moreno <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> CC: [email protected] Subject: Re: [PD] evolutive Date: Wed, 28 Mar 2007 17:11:32 -0400 what are you looking for? works, ideas, links? I am working on dynamic patch creation from dna extractions and snipping and mutating the code to get new results, I guess that is kind of evolutive, but I don't have a workflow for that yet. marius. josue moreno wrote: > > >hi everyone, > >im making a research project about computer asisted composition, > >since that is so open i decided to focus my work on generative music and >specially on cellular automata and evolutive techniques, > >the main trouble is that the works should have some instrumental writting >participation (sheet music will be awsome) > >can anyone help me? > >thanks > _________________________________________________________________ Un amor, una aventura, compañía para un viaje.
