Yeah, there is something whacky going on with the PiDiP build. ./ configure finds theora:
checking for ogg_stream_init in -logg... yes checking for vorbis_analysis_init in -lvorbis... yes checking for vorbis_encode_setup_init in -lvorbisenc... yes checking for theora_encode_init in -ltheora... yes It seems to build the theora stuff, but it doesn't link the theora library. Maybe someone out there who has gotten this working on mac OS X could enlighten us? .hc On May 5, 2007, at 6:20 AM, Luigi Rensinghoff wrote: > Hi List > > Have been away from PD for a while. > I am seeing great effort do fix some things here. > > pdp seems to work fine, after a quick first look. > No success with pidip (Intel Macbook) > > /Applications/Pd-0.39.2-extended-rc2.app/Contents/Resources/ > Scripts/../extra/pidip.pd_darwin: dlopen(/Applications/Pd-0.39.2- > extended-rc2.app/Contents/Resources/Scripts/../extra/pidip.pd_darwin, > 10): Symbol not found: _theora_decode_YUVout > Referenced from: /Applications/Pd-0.39.2-extended-rc2.app/Contents/ > Resources/Scripts/../extra/pidip.pd_darwin > Expected in: dynamic lookup > > [import]: ERROR: can't load library in pidip > > Please dont forget pdp_ieee1394 ;-) > > Bye Luigi > > >> >> >> >> >> ---- Nose Hair <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: >>> I have been trying to test PDP on os 10.4.9 but it seems as though >>> pdp_glx does not work so I cant create a window to view pdp_noise >>> and > > Did you start X11 before starting PD ??? > Thats not mentioned very often but is necessary... > > > _______________________________________________ > [email protected] mailing list > UNSUBSCRIBE and account-management -> http://lists.puredata.info/ > listinfo/pd-list ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ---- The arc of history bends towards justice. - Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. _______________________________________________ [email protected] mailing list UNSUBSCRIBE and account-management -> http://lists.puredata.info/listinfo/pd-list
