So here's what it looks like as far as I can tell - if [playlist] has a message box connected to its inlet when it appears in a GOP abstraction, it causes a crash upon closing the patch and discarding the changes. There may be more to it than that but I think I at least have this narrowed down. I am also going to create a bug report for the [vectral~] issue since that is also really important to my work.
