I think it's a good idea to start exploring how to make Pd a cleaner language, but there are ways of softening the blow of drastic changes. One thing that you could do to lighten the impact is to make a separate library that has your versions of route, pack, etc. Then if we strip out as much as possible from the Pd core language, and stick it all into libraries, then it would be quite easy to switch between the compatible versions and your new versions. Another option is to use different names. .hc > > _ _ __ ___ _____ ________ _____________ _____________________ ... > | Mathieu Bouchard - tél:+1.514.383.3801, Montréal QC > Canada_______________________________________________ > [email protected] mailing list > UNSUBSCRIBE and account-management -> http://lists.puredata.info/ > listinfo/pd-list ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ---- As we enjoy great advantages from inventions of others, we should be glad of an opportunity to serve others by any invention of ours; and this we should do freely and generously. - Benjamin Franklin _______________________________________________ [email protected] mailing list UNSUBSCRIBE and account-management -> http://lists.puredata.info/listinfo/pd-list
