i think, you cannot. you need to store the value of the dimension you
want to be unchanged somewhere in order to be able to change the other
dimension without changing the previous dimension.
oops, sorry, if that sentence doesn't make sense. you need to store the
x value, if you want to change only the y value, so that you can set a
different y value without changing the x value by sending it a message:
'vis_size <stored_x> <new_y>'
