hmmm, I don't know so much about the server side yet. it is an ontological database (which I was told is more complicated than a mysql??) and there is a wrapper around it, which is talking to several kiosk and screening moduls. we are defining queries and respond formats which is sent as xml. I also don't know yet how efficient that protocol is. georg's mysql script seems the way to go for mysql queries. marius.
