If maybe this is helpful for anyone to give me some info,
Although Point Grey recommends a Windows Machine, there is an SDK
by libdc1394 for Linux/OSX, and drivers by IOXperts for OSX.

It is IIDC 1394-based Digital Camera Specification v1.31

Should I just trust this will work??

best,

Jaime
