Has anyone had experience running PD using a dedicated DSP? I'm going to be starting an embedded PD-based project and my plan has been to use PDa on an ARM, but I'm wondering if I might be able to get more speed by offloading some of the maths to a DSP.
If I used a floating-point DSP could I port mainline PD? I guess that PDa has to emulate the floating point for the message passing, which I suppose wouldn't be well-suited to a DSP anyways.
